Las Vegas Strip guide 2024
Welcome to our Las Vegas Strip guide!
Here you will find recommended hotels, what shows to see, what tours to do, how to play at a casino in Las Vegas and much more.
Why the Las Vegas Strip?
Las Vegas is one of the biggest tourist cities in the world with almost 40 million visitors per year and everything is concentrated to the Las Vegas Strip. This four-mile strip of Las Vegas Boulevard boasts 14 of the 20 biggest hotels in the world! You will find a lot more than gambling. The Strip offers some of the best shows in the world, fantastic hotels and a large selection of restaurants and nightclubs.
Hotels
There are a lot of good hotels in Las Vegas. Aria is a newly built five-star hotel which is very nice. For best value, we prefer MGM Signature. The rooms are luxuriously decorated, there is a kitchen and a Jacuzzi in the hotel room and the pool area ranks amongst the best in Las Vegas.
Shows
Most shows by Cirque du Soleil are truly amazing and our favorite is KÀ. The water shows O and Le Rêve are other awesome shows. We think that you should see at least one show when you visit Las Vegas!
Tours
A tour to Grand Canyon is very popular, preferably by helicopter. Also, don’t miss Lake Mead which is about one hour away from the Strip. It is the perfect lake for jet skis and water sports during the summer half-year.
Rent a car
If you stay more than a few days in Las Vegas, make sure to rent a car! There are beautiful surroundings such as Death Valley and Valley of Fire. Not to mention Grand Canyon of course! Check out our best rental car tips on carhiretips.co.uk.
Casino
The dice game craps is the most exciting casino game. Find a table where the spirits are high and you will have a good time. If you come to Las Vegas to make money, poker is what you have to play.
Attractions on the Strip
The hotels themselves are tourist attractions. Among these buildings, you will find a pyramid, Manhattan’s skyline, a small version of Venice, Caesar’s Palace, a fairy castle and Paris in small scale with the Eiffel Tower.
