Attractions

When you have seen all the awesome shows and done all the incredible tours Las Vegas has to offer, it is time to browse the free entertainment. The Las Vegas Strip has many free attractions in the form of shows, both indoor and outdoor, and sightseeing among the hotels. The casinos do what they can to attract new people.

We have divided the free attractions into the following two categories.

  • Outdoor shows. The three best outdoor shows are the Fountains at Bellagio, Sirens of TI at Treasure Island and the Volcano at the Mirage. They start at even intervals and they are easy to find.
  • Indoor shows and attractions. Most casinos have some sort of free entertainment or show. Two of the more famous ones are the circus at Circus Circus and the “Show in the Sky” at Rio.

Many casinos also have other performance acts, usually with songs and dances. Ask in the lobby for information on current events.

Strip hotel themes

Las Vegas Boulevard, a.k.a. the Strip, stretches from Mandalay Bay in the south to Stratosphere in the north. Almost all hotels have a theme. Las Vegas best attraction is probably to just walk alongside these massive hotels and look at the different themes. You will find New York – New York which is designed from famous buildings on Manhattan, Paris Las Vegas with an Eiffel Tower, scale 1:2, Caesar’s Palace with roman architecture and the Venetian with a theme from Venice.

Shopping

The Strip offers a lot of shopping opportunities. The Fashion Show Mall, opposite from Wynn, is the biggest mall with articles in all price ranges. The Forum Shops, by Caesar’s Palace, is a gallery with a lot of luxury articles. Miracle Miles, close to Planet Hollywood, is a gallery with prices in the middle.
