High tower

The hotel is renowned for its 350 meter-high Stratosphere Tower with its attractions at the top. Stratosphere has 2,427 rooms. It is located on the north side of the Las Vegas Strip, pretty far from the center of the Strip.

Monorail not too far away

Stratosphere is pretty close to, the now closed, Sahara Hotel. This is where the monorail has its end station. It is also the closest hotel to Downtown and the Premium Outlets (3.5 or 2.5 km). The pool area is quite large and pretty nice. The hotel is very cheap to stay at and it often has the lowest rates for three star hotels at the Strip.
