Dry subtropical and many sun hours
Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert and the climate is classified as dry subtropical. Las Vegas has over 300 days with sunshine every year and on average over ten hours of sunshine per day. It rains about one-two days a month in the summer and somewhat more in the winter. The humidity is generally very low and often under 10%.
