There are 20-30 different strip clubs in Las Vegas and the major hotels on the Strip would rather get rid of them. They obviously want you to spend your money with them instead. The strip clubs are located a little bit off the Strip. Many of the strip clubs can be found on, or close to, Industrial Road [googlemaps.com].

Inside the strip club

Inside Las Vegas strip clubs, you will find the classic strip poles where the girls put on a show. The girls also walk round among the guests, talk and ask for lap dances. The waitresses are often very active and if a girl sits with you, you will be asked to buy a drink for yourself and the stripper. Alcohol usually costs a more here than at a ordinary bar. Ask for the price so you don’t get scammed.

Nude and topless

Most Las Vegas strip clubs offer only topless girls but there are a few places where the girls are completely naked. Alcohol is prohibited on clubs with nude girls.

Lap dance

A lap dance costs about $20 + tip and lasts one song. Stick to the “look but don’t touch” rule and let the girl decide where it is appropriate for your hands to be. If you want a lap dance in the VIP room it will cost you a lot more. We recommend that you ask for the price before you enter.

Entry fee

Many strip clubs in Las Vegas charge $20-$35 when you arrive during the evening or night. It is usually free to charge to enter in the day. The fee can often be negotiated if you come as a group. Cab drivers get paid to bring customers, a so-called kickback. Ask the driver for a free ride and free entry to the strip club.

Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club

Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club is located one block off the Las Vegas Strip and is supposed to be the largest strip club with its 6600 m². If you want a free limo ride there, call +1 702 303 3430. However, it is probably better to make a deal with a cab driver and you will get free entry as well.

General guidelines

• Don’t bring more money to Las Vegas strip clubs than you want to spend, especially if you are not in full control. Strippers and the waitresses are experts at getting customers to spend a lot of money.
• A good way to get the most out of a VIP area experience is to say how much cash you have and ask what that will get you. This way you don’t risk paying for things you don’t want. It is not uncommon for the waitress to bring alcohol you never asked for.
• If you want attention from the girls, visit a strip club early in the evening and preferably not at the weekend. They have more girls per costumer then.. Obviously, if you don’t want that attention the opposite holds true.
• While it isn’t impossible to date a stripper, bear in mind that they are professionals. She probably doesn’t like you as much as it seems!
• Dress code. It is recommended to wear a shirt with collar, preferably tucked in, and trousers. A nice outfit is a cheap way to get good service.
• Tipping. Just like every other services in Las Vegas, the girls expect tips. If you like a dancer on-stage, tip her. When you sit on the front row, it is basically mandatory to tip.
